1. GET REPS

When you have pockets of time, do crunches, planks, squats, and push-ups… little bits add up over time.

2. NO PRESSURE

Don’t pressure yourself into lengthy lifting sessions…15-20 minute strength training before/after a group fitness class is totally efficient.

3. JUST MOVE

If you are waiting at practice, attending a sporting event or visiting a park, use the time to get a walk in. Don’t sit in your car, on bleachers or benches scrolling your phone!

4. FAMILY SESH

Put on a YouTube video when littles are napping. Have older kids do the workout too! Or, find time for the whole family. Lots of laughs and chaos, but still get some work in.

5. BE PHYSICAL

Look for every opportunity, like getting diapers from upstairs, pulling weeds, hauling mulch, whatever it may be as a workout and a way to be more active than the day before.

6. SET THE EXAMPLE

Be patient but also be HONEST…could I have moved more and been more active today? Show your kids a healthy and active life style.
